Chapter II. Installation Instruction

2.1 Check the device

Before install the digital video recorder, please check whether the appearance of the device is damaged and whether the

accessories are complete. Then, open the case, remove the protective film and begin to install the device.

Prepare the devices (camera, power supply and monitor, etc) which will be connected to the digital video recorder and

connect them.

2.2 Install

Important:

 Select appropriate installation position to provide good ventilation and prevent overheating of the device.

 Do not install the device near heat sources like radiator and ventiduct, or places with direct sunshine irradiation, too

much dust, or mechanical vibration or impact.

 This digital video recorder isn’t equipped with hard disk. You may use the device without hard disk but you can’t

record the video. High speed hard disk of 7200 rpm or higher is recommended.

Install hard disk: get a cross screwdriver first.

 Step 1: Open the case.

 Step 2: Remove hard disk holder. Using a SATA cord to connect HDD onto SATA connector. It support capacity up to

2000GB.

 Step 3: Put the hard disk into the holder and fix it with screws on both left and right.

 Step 4: Put the holder back to the device and fix it with screws.
